It’s an open-mic audience vs. three curated performers as host Meg Ferrill and 7 Deadly Sins present a collection of Portland’s top comedians, writers, artists, radio personalities, and other assorted raconteurs ramp up the Halloween spirit and tell the their own absolute true worst, best or weirdest scary stories alongside people form the audience — maybe even you.
And yours can be anything you’ve experienced that’s scary. Maybe it’s a ghost story! Or maybe it’s a story about when you faced your greatest fear. Or the first time you ever asked someone out on a date. Or went skydiving. Or started to wonder if the hitchhiker you’d just picked up was a serial killer. Or maybe it’s about a time when you absolutely scared the pasts off of someone else.
Whoever everyone decides had the worst, best, or weirdest scary story — be it performer or audience member — will have a chance to win one of the absolute best or absolute worst prizes ever awarded on stage.
We’ll also give away prizes for the best answer to our Absolute Worst Question Of The Night, the evening’s Best Audience Member, and whoever comes in the best or weirdest costume. Plus other prizes that we’ll probably just make up as we go!
Also, we may ask everyone to howl at the moon. Or we may not. (We’ll see.)
